What is the deal with ppl putting themselves on the Hitlist in Mobsters?

Im soo confused on why they do this!! I saw a LVL 1 put themself on the hitlist. They WON 2057 fights, but LOST 6?!?!?! Seriously what is up with that?

they are just trying to bring up their numbers. I heard that they can place themselves on the hitlist and then fight themselves and collect the bounty!

It's retarded if you ask me but that's only if you're asking me. lol!
