  1. I agree the question is a little confusing.  I too am a avid recycler and I actually take my recyclables to a center and divide the glasses from the plastics, aluminum, batteries and whatever else I have once I get there.  The drop off center is at the grocery store so I do not waste any gas getting there because I would already be there shopping.

I have a problem with the multiple trash companies in my neighborhood all having recycling programs (which cost extra) and I see 4 or 5 different trucks on trash day sending in separate trucks to pick up the recycling and since its an extra fee few people do it so the trucks are driving miles out of the way just to find those who have their companies special color recycling bin.  I think one company should do all the curbside recycling pick ups or have separate bins on the trash trucks.

Reducing waste is a large part of being green and having all these trucks scattering around to find the few recycling bins wastes gas and requires more big tucks on the road.

I'm not sure I answered your question but hopefully gave you something to think about.

  2. the scientific are working on chain programs for recycling but this in an early state. the various recycling program's are not all well considered in their consequence's

  3. I think I'm interested in your topic but I'm not sure I understand your question; you might want to re-word it. What are "multiple recycling programs"?

I've heard some people claim that if we throw all materials--plastic, paper, steel, aluminium, glass--into one bin, that it doesn't actually end up getting recycled. Is that what you're asking?

I'm a faithful recycler and recycle whatever we can but I also want accountability--I want assurance that the materials ARE getting sorted out and recycled.

If this is your question/ concern too, I'll be interested in responses to your post.
