  1. I think you mean the admin password?

    user: admin

    pass: admin

NOTE: these are all lower case by default.

There is no security (WEP is a type of wireless security) by default.  If you lost the WEP key and can't connect, plug in with a physical wire (bypasses wifi security) and recover the password by logging into the admin page or do a hard-reset of the router and reprogram it.

  2. Online certification-http://expertrating.net/

  3. A WEP password is set up by the user so there is no default password.

The default username and password to log in to the router is

    login: admin

    pasword: admin

  4. Not sure just at the moment. But i'm sure your required to use ethernet when setting up, and it will not require the wep key so you can change the password once you login with admin/admin.

  5. password to enter setup is admin.

by default WEP is not enabled... WEP is wireless encryption (very crappy and super easy to break, by the way) and has nothing to do with logging into the router to set it up...  just use the password admin when you go to 192.168.1.1 to enter the setup screen.

USE WPA for your encryption unless you have something that doesn't support WPA.  If using WPA, choose a good password, and chage the default SSID from linksys to something unique.  (Meaning not "home" or "my router" etc.)
