What is the default username password and port for connecting to a computer via ftp?

i want to conncect to my laptop via ftp so i can tranfer some files and wat not to it. Wats the username password and port by defalt or how do i figure it out?

Computers don't come with a FTP host so you'd need to find a software FTP host first.  Then configure the port/username/password.

The port for ftp is nearly always 21, however, unless you have configured a ftp server on the computer you are trying to connect to it won't work.

The usernames and passwords etc... are set up when you configure the FTP Server.

Try Filezilla server, I have found that works great, although sometimes it is hard to configure.
