  1. whats the definition of google or yahoo

    I don't understand

    oh yes!

    And

I don"t know what books are anymore

  2. A black hole forms when a star collapses from its own gravity.  It is EXTREMELY hot and has a LOT of gravity..enough to rip anything apart :-p.  It is a 'black' hole because the gravity is so strong that not even light can escape from it.

  3. there is one simple definition for a black hole

you know density equals mass over volume, when density of an object approaches infinity you will have a black hole, it can be achieved by making the mass infinitely big or making the volume infinitely small, of course this amount can be calculated by the formula r=Gm/c^2 ( where r = schwarzshild readius, m= mass, c= speed of light) this was proposed by shwarzshild not hawking, hawking made further discoveries about black holes. when the density of the object is so high the escape velocity becomes as much as speed of light so nothing even with speed of light can escape the gravitational field of that object, then you'll get a black hole, as simple as that, it does not have to be  an astronomical object ( it can be created here on earth) and it does not have to come from stars, it can only have the mass of an electron but qualifying the above conditions.

  4. If a black hole could exist it would be a 2 solar mass sphere 3 km in diameter whose surface gravity was such that the surface escape velocity would be greater than the speed of light.

Since no light or any electro magnetism could escape it would be invisible.

It would act like any other celestial body so it's gravity would indicate it's presence.

  5. i have never had a physics class, i learn here. so if what i have read is true newton just accepted gravity existed then einstein made the definition of gravity as space time curvature. so the black hole theory came from the definition of gravity by einstein. i read einstein refused to accept the conclusion his definition predicted.  if i say space is negative 2 and time is positive 2 then i can prove mathmatically that space+time=0  but that doesn't make it true.

  6. OK, basically, a black hole is a region of space. Imagine a balloon. The air inside is the space in the black hole. The "skin" of the balloon is the event horizon. Things go in but not out. It even sucks in light and because it doesn't let it back out, we don't see the actual insides of a hole, we only see surrounding matter being sucked in.

    OK, here it gets tricky.

The center of the balloon is a point of gravity distortion. I produces super gravity, so the balloon actually pulls stuff in.

The closer you get to one of those b*tches, the slower time goes for you. Time is relative, so to an outside observer, you would just be frozen in time in front of the hole. From your point of view you go at the speed of light towards the center of the hole.

    Here you go.

  7. Definition: Black Hole: Astronomy theoretical celestial object, formed when a massive star collapses from its own gravity. A black hole has such a strong pull of gravity that not even light can escape from it.

  10. A black hole is a region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing, not even light, can escape its pull after having fallen past its event horizon.
