What is the definition of Syndrome. (easy ten points)?

What exactly is the definition os Syndrome? I suppose I could look it up, but I'm too lazy, right now. It always sounds to me like a word that should mean something like "a reoccurring behavioral disorder." I don't know why. But the "reoccurring" part just sounds right.
