Is this an English word?  I have never heard of it and couldn't find it in an on-line dictionary.  Did you perhaps mean gnome?

You've misspelled it, its "gnome."

Knome is the name of a company that specializes in whole-genome sequencing. Knome is not an actual word (that would appear in a dictionary). If it had a meaning it would be whole-genome: a full set of chromosomes; all the inheritable traits of an organism.
