  1. This is kind of a tricky question.  It depends on the type of fossilization that has occurred and which mineral has replaced the bone.

    For example, the density of a fossilized dinosaur bone that has been replaced completely by silica would be about 2.65 g/cm3.

    To find the weight, you'd have to know the volume of the sample.
