The devil's tower is the name for a witch's basement. (weird cause tower are high, and basement are under the ground)

Pesants from the Celtic Mythologies belived that witches forced demons to excavate deep wells to reach Satan. They believed that If the witch completed these well the world would flip over, and if you turn the world upside down you would be in h**l, and the wells would be used as towers, were the demons watch you over using you as a slave.

In what context?  There are several natural geological locations in the United States, especially the Mountain Desert areas of Utah, New Mexico and Arizona that have the name 'devils tower'.  I don't think it refers to anything specific.  These are simply rocks that are shaped like towers, but usually very bizarre looking.
