  1. i think motel you can park your car right by the door.

    cuz the door is outside.

  2. Hotels are better quality and feel much cleaner than motels. But hotels are also more expensive. And hotels are usually the big tall buildings that have 2 floors or more. Motels are the ones that have one floor (the ground floor) And all the rooms are right beside eachother, and the cars are parked right in front of the room.

  3. a motel is one building with joined rooms with doors that face a parking lot and, in some sometimes, a common area.

a hotel can look anyway it wants, all it has to do to qualify as a hotel is provide lodging services.

you usually see hotels in north america (that's my opinion because i myself , and many of my friends have travelled far but never came across a motel that was not in america).

  4. ~~Hotels have their rooms inside a building. Motels are rooms your "motor" up to and park close to your room with the doors all accessed outside. Hence the namee "motels".~~

  5. Motel doors are accessible from the outside and hotel doors are accessible from the inside. Motels are also rarely over three storeys high (most are one or two floors).

Price doesn't have anything to do with anything because motels in prime locations can charge the same (or more!) than high end hotels in remote places.  For example, a crummy motel in the San Francisco area will charge more per night than a Sheraton on the edge of the Mojave desert.

  6. Hotel-doors on the inside of building

Motels-doors on the outside of building
