What is the diference in a cafe' wine as opposed to a regular ziffindel or chardonay?

  1. The "Cafe" line is a Gallo product.

    The main differences between the Cafe line and their other "wines" is: the Cafe line is much lighter...for instance, the Cafe zin is served cold, unlike a real zinfandel, which is served room temperature.  The chardonnay is light enough to be quite possibly considered wine-flavored water.

    Quite possibly warranted after mowing the lawn, but other than that I see no real purpose for the Cafe line to exist.
