I am trying to burn a mini dvd rw disc home video to a standard size disc. This will allow me to erase the mini dvd rw disc to use again in my camcorder.

  1. The only practical differences I can think of are that -R is slightly more compatible with standalone players but +R loses less space if you're doing multiple writes.

  2. the dvd+r has more space than a dvd-r.

  3. there is really little difference between them it's kinda like VHS and Beta. some drives play and burn both where others are specific.

    hope it helps!
