  1. I bought an avanti 49cc pit bike it has electric start. It's not superfast and I don't think I will be able to find parts but, I've been riding it for four years and I have had no problems with mine.  I was $699 four years ago.

  2. the bike will be worth what you pay.

most of them are junk and no parts are available.

  3. A pit bike is small like a mini bike...Many pit bikes are made from Honda 50s...they hop them up with big-bore kits to make them fast...It has become big business...They have big races with sometimes 100s of riders..all the pit bikes are 4-strokes......Pit bikes were used for motocross racers to ride around the pit area at the race track..As some of the motocross racers started tricking there little pit bikes out and hopping them up..it became real popular

Dirt bikes for the most part are taller and longer..with bigger motors.......

  4. I have owned a SDG, It had small issues but other than that it was reliable. The cheaper knock offs are of cheaper quality, they are all based on the same crf 50 hop up design but they are not as reliable as a crf 50. The 1200.00+ bikes are much better. A pit bike is a dirt bike but more of a play bike.
