brown or milk chocolate is pure chocolate with all its components. white chocolate is just the cocoa butter.

Catastrophic got it right. There is absolutely no chocolate in white chocolate. White chocolate is just sugar, cocoa butter, and milk solids.

brown chocolate is made from the cocoa seed and is actually chocolate.

white chocolate doesn't have any actual chocolate in it (cocoa) and is made from different chemicals humans mix up.  (still tasty)

White has a slite coconut flavor! And you can taste the vanilla extract much more then the brown!
