What is the difference, if any, from Voodoo Child and Voodoo Chile by Hendrix?

Ok, I have been trying to listen to these two Hendrix songs, Voodoo Chile and Voodoo Child (slight return). At first I thought it was just a typo but than wikipedia has an article on both. Each time I listen to each one, they both appear to be the same song. Can someone please explain this to me? Thanks.

  1. they r the same... wikipedia is a user edited website but they r one song juss 2 different names people call it


  2. They're two different songs!

    Voodoo Child (Slight Return) is a 5 minute song, and Voodoo Chile is a 15 minute song, and they're both on the Electric Ladyland album.
