  1. a cyclone is a region of low air pressure associated with stormy weather. it is sometimes used to mean a depression.

tropical cyclones are also called called hurricanes or  typhoons.

a tornado is a violent storm including destructive whirlwinds.

  2. Cyclone - a tropical storm in which the air circles around an "eye" or center. It starts in the southwestern Pacific Ocean or Indian Ocean. They circulate counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

Hurricane - same as a cyclone except it originates in a different part of the world - which are: the equatorial regions of the Atlantic Ocean or Caribbean Sea or eastern regions of the Pacific Ocean. It travels north, northwest, or northeast from its point of origin

Tornado - a violent windstorm similar to a hurricane except it is on land and it has a long, funnel-shaped cloud. When this is over the water - it is call a waterspout

In other words - tornadoes and waterspouts are one cloud. Hurricanes and cyclones are whole storm systems.
