What is the difference beteen mini DVD-RW and DVD+RW used in video camera?

I usaully use DVD-RW in my canon DC10 camera but DVDs gives disc error very frequently. once i tried DVD+RW but it did not work so i wonder what DVD i should use that did not give disc error, therefore, i have to buy mini DVDs very often.....please, help ffor longer lasting running mini DVDs specially i m interested in RW (Read & Write both).

  1. DVD-RW and DVD+RW are both rewritable discs, cameras usually can use either one. Consult your manual to see if your camera can use either one. I think they only come in one size.


  2. Rw is rewritable nad -rw is not rewritable

    So if u recorded once u can re over it and take another video but if its not then u cant
