I have an old camcorder that I would like to use.

It takes an NP-55 battery, 6V and 1000mAh. I can't find Np-55's with 1000mAh for sale, is it ok to use a hgher value as long as it's 6V? Also, what is mAh?

  1. milli amp hours. It is basically the amount of charge the battery can out put for a period of time.

THe higher the better, the longer the camera can run. Normally the higher the value the larger the battery and the longer it will last.

    IT must be a 6v NP55.
