What is the difference between 'hydrox' and regular oreos?

i know hydrox are kosher, but do regular oreos have gelatin or something in them that makes them not kosher???

You can completely submerge a Hydrox in a glass of milk and it will never get softer!

Just in case you didn't know Hydrox are Vegan and oreos are not.

They were basically the same cookie at one time.  Originally, Hydrox were made as a Kosher version of Oreo.  In the last few years, however many Nabisco (as well as other companies' products) have been reworked and Rabinical Counsel approved to become Kosher.

Oreos are now Kosher,  Chips Ahoy and several other Nabisco products are as well; that formerly were not.

They are completly different brands of basically the same cookie.  One is made by one company the other by another.
