What's the difference between an Associat of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Matser's of Fine Arts?

  1. AA - 2 years. BFA - 4 years - regular college degree.  MFA - that's a master's - a graduate degree, usually 2 more years AFTER you graduate.  You do not need an AA before a BFA - but you DO need an undergrad degree of some type (4-year) before starting a Master's.
