  1. Architecture courses only related to design, drafting, tastes, ratios, history of art,

    while for Planning courses it has to do with time versus productivity, efforts employed, cost vs time , and special planning software


  2. Architecture concerns particular buildings.  Planning is usually more concerned with land use; which areas will be used for which types of building, be it housing, agriculture, shopping, factories or whatever.

    As for the specific question, you can only answer that by comparing specific courses on offer.
