What is the difference between Acuvue Advance for astigmatism and Acuvue Toric lenses?

They're both for astigmatism, so which is better and why?

  1. Acuvue Toric is an older lens. Vistakon discontinued the lens in '07, but they are still selling them until their back-stock runs out.

    Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism replaced the Acuvue Toric. This lens provides the eye with more moisture and oxygen permeability.

    Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism is their newest toric lens. It is even more comfortable than the Advance.

    Acuvue Toric brand has been discontinued since Dec2007.

    Acuvue Advance is the new brand. Basically an upgraded version .
