    Bay is a broad curving inlet of the sea, whereas gulf is a stretch of sea consisting of deep inlet with narrow mouth.

    Sea is a salty  water body which is  partly or wholly, surrounded with land. Whereas an ocean is an large expanse of sea.

A Bay is a coastal  inlet with land usually on three sides which gives limited shelter to seacraft ,a gulf is a large area of sea enclosed by land on three sides,an ocean is one of of the seven main bodys of sea water on earth,a sea is a defined body of water and can be fresh or salt.What in some countries would be called a lake would be called a sea .
