  1. Coke Zero was created because a new artificial sweetener called Acesulfame Potassium was approved for consumption.  Pepsi One and Coke Zero both make their sodas using this new sweetener.  Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi still use the old artificial sweetener, Aspartame.

  2. While both drinks have zero calories, and contain aspartame and no sugar, the originial Diet Coke is only sweetened with aspartame while Coke Zero is sweetened with a mix of aspartame and acesulfame potassium and also tastes more like the original coke. Both also contain caffiene. Coke Zero> Diet Coke IMO

  3. Simple, diet coke has sugar and calories and zero coke has nothing.

  4. Nasty

  5. coke zero has 0 calories  and diet coke is good when u r trying to lose weight

  6. coke zero has zero calories diet coke dosn't

  7. There is no difference, besides the label.

  8. i have been a fan of diet coke for years and still drink it(drinking one right now matter of fact) but i have found that coke zero does actually taste more like coke....i like it as well but usually get diet coke because no one else in our office likes zero ....and neither has any calories

  9. Coke Zero is disgusting, Diet coke is delicious.
