  1. DOHC= double overhead cam which means two cams, one for intake valves and one for exhaust valves. Generally this will let an engine rev more freely. MPFI= multi-port fuel injection, which means you have more than one fuel injector in the intake manifold. This improves fuel/air mixture for better combustion. DOHC and MPFI aren't directly comparable so one won't make an engine better than the other.

  2. DOHC (Double Over Head Cam) and MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) are not related. DOHC refers to how the valves are setup to move in relation to the pistons. MPFI is a fuel injector technology. Are you trying to compare MPFI to DPFI or DOHC to something else like SOHC? Google has a lot of helpful information about this type of stuff. Even howstuffworks.com would probably be helpful to you.

  3. DOHC means Dual Over Head Cam. Which has to do with cam arrangement.

MPFI means Multi Port Fuel Injection.

There are a lot of engines (if not most) that have both. There is no reason to discuss the Pros and Cons of both as they do not conflict with one another, but instead complement each other.
