  1. DVd-R is just recordable DVD-RW is rewritable meaning you can earase it and use it again


  2. With a DVD-RW you cant take files/videos off and on when you want, but on a DVD-R you cant change it once you put files on.

  3. DVD-R stands for DVD-Readable, meaning that once you burn and finalize the disc, you can't take data off of it, or add onto it. DVD-RW stands for DVD-Rewritable, meaning that once you burn and finalize the disc, you can still erase it and add songs again, or just add more songs without erasing it if you have enough memory.

  4. Yeah - basically, a DVD-RW is a flash drive in disc form.
