  1. Ecolgy is the science which deals with the distribution & abundance of life & interaction & relationship between all organisms while Environmental studies is the scientific study of only human interaction(not focused on relationships between an organism and other organism other than human) with other organisms.

  2. ecology is the study of the interaction of organisms with each other and their environments (the focus is on the organisms themselves).  With environmental science, it is more broad with a focus on environmental changes, types of environments, organisms, etc.  the truth is the topics are very related, it is just the difference in the focus of each subject.

  3. Ecology -  the study of the relationship of plants and animals to their physical and biological environment. The physical environment includes light and heat or solar radiation, moisture, wind, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients in soil, water, and atmosphere. The biological environment includes organisms of the same kind as well as other plants and animals.

Environmental studies -  is the systematic study of human interaction with their environment. It is a broad field of study that includes the natural environment, built environments, social environments, organizational environments, and the sets of relationships between them. Environmental studies is distinct from ecology and environmental science.
