What is the difference between Engineering Autocad & Art Autocad?

Is is a different program for each? or is it the same program but different way to use it?

  1. Hmmm. AutoCAD is pretty flexible with vector 2D graphics, so it can be used for either personal abstract expression and impression ("Art") or highly regimented and detailed building design ("Engineering").

    Using AutoCAD for either of these purposes may involve extra add on software ("extensions") possibly making the program "different", but this doesn't need always to be the case.
