I don't know about FOR - but FOB means "free on board" or "freight on board" and is usually followed by other words like FOB Shipping Point or FOB Destination.  These "magic words" specify who is to pay for freight and who selects the method of shipping.  Legally, they determine when title passes (which is important for determining who is at risk in the event of a loss).  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_On_Boa... for more details.
