  1. goverment policy it is about the procedures upon a special situation...terrorist is against the law as you must know and the gvt. policy is not to deal with this they have another way to solve it......no with the regular law procedure.

In the U.S., we call it "Public Policy."  Generally speaking, they are the same but in common usage, public policies are broad laws and laws are specific public policies.  People think of welfare, for instance, as a public policy but, in actuality, there is a law behind the policy.  People think of criminal law, for instance, as "law" but there are public policies behind them.

  3. The Law is how the government controls the people who elected them to their high office.....Policies are how the government bend the rules to put themselves outside the law so they can grab what they can before their demise in the next election.

  4. Policy determines the law and the way the law is interpreted.
