I am looking into buying HPA Tank for my A5 and was wondering if I need a High or Low pressure tank.

The one I am interested in is the Empire 56cui 4500psi High Pressure.

  1. you should go to actionvillage.com and just get a pure energy tank

  2. High pressure generally is for more experienced paint ballers.

The paint ball will shoot out at a higher velocity, and therefore will pack a bigger punch, if you will.

Its going to hurt a bit more, if you get hit with one.

I hope this helps.  Be SAFE... Always wear goggles.

    Take Care,

  3. Tanks that are called high pressure have the regulator set at about 850PSI and tank that are called low pressure have the regulator set at about 450PSI.

For the Tippmann A5, you will need an HPA tank with a high pressure output (about 850PSI).

The size of the tank in the pressure it holds and the CI simple determins the amount of shots you get.

    The General rule is:

10 shots per CI at 3000PSI

15 shots per CI at 4500PSI

The higher pressure tanks are worth the extra money since they are made from carbon fiber and lighter while having a higher shot capacity.
