Curious becuase i already paid a whole lot for the D class ticket but was told i would have to pay more to move dates as only J class seats available for the new date. Do the J class get something that the D class don't??

  1. Nothing is different in terms on the seating...

Its just didnt fare levels for business class seats. D class is a lower price ticket with more restrictions. If you try to change that to a flight where D class is not avaialable, they will make you pay a higher fare class ( J ).

  2. Both are business class fares. But D class is a promotional Business class and got some restrictions. J is the full Business class fare without any restrictions. In flight service will be the same for both the class'. Allotment of seats in the system will be more for J than D. These are all selling and revenue tricks of not only VS but also of all the Airlines all over the world.
