What is the difference between LCD,DLP and HD-ILA televisions.?

  1. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display, it's the same screen you see in laptop computers, except the pixels are much smaller, allowing more pixels in it's place, creating a better, more detailed image required for HD quality

    DLP stands for Digital Light Processing, the image is created in a computer chip (looks like a computer processor with an LCD screen on it), and is focused using mirrors (given the motto "It's amazing, it's the mirrors" or something like that)

    As for HD-ILA, i don't know what it stands for, but it's similar to one of those head gear things that Nintendo made quite a while ago that displayed one color (usually red), there are 3 different plates, one for each of the primary colors (Red, Green, and Blue, aka RGB), each plate, when displayed together, acts like CRT projectors and shows up as a million different colors (more or less, I am not sure on the exact amount), it is slightly similar to DLP, but more similar to CRT projection
