What is the difference between Lilacpoint siamese and Bluepoint siamese?

  1. Lilacs are paler than blues.  They tend to have the pale, icy coats with the grey points, and their paw pads and nose leather is a rosy to pink color.  Blues are darker, and may have less contrast between their points and their bodies than the lilacs do.  Their paw pads and nose leathers are more of a slate color.  It's not hard to look at a cat from a fine breeder and determine if they are lilacs or blues, but with the back-yard-breeder and pet quality cats, it's hard to really tell.
