What is the difference between Lugia and Shadow Lugia?

Lugia is the original form of it. It is white and it is normal. It is the one available in pokemon cards, figurines, pokemon gold, silver, crystal, ruby, sapphire, emerald, fire red, leaf green, colosseum, diamond, and pearl.

Shadow Lugia on the other hand is a dark "possesed" version of the original Lugia available only on Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. In the game, the protagonist tries to use thie Shadow Lugia to take over the world, but the hero will thwart his plan and can capture this Shadow Lugia. Once captured, it can be purified so that it becomes a normal Lugia again.

You have to purify Shadow Lugia to be able to trade it to your gameboy or ds games, otherwise you wont be able to trade. Shadow pokemon like Shadow Lugia are eclusive to pokemon XD Gale of Darkness in the gamecube.

A shadow pokemon is not possesed, but it heart has been sealed away. purification is the process of getting it to open its heart up to someone.

k...firstly colour...shadow lugia has red eyes....light grey where lugia has blue and purple where lugia has silver.

secondly...shadow lugia is...well kinda evil (but only cause he/she is being controled)

thirdly shadow lugia is the shadow version of lugia

also shadow lugia has a different moveset to lugia
