  1. I don't know about McCain but here is the Obama website http://www.barackobama.com/index.php It should answer many of your questions about Obama

  2. Obama is an intelligent candidate who cares about the future of this country and fellow Americans. He also chose a highly qualified running mate based on sound decision making.

McCain is an old, senile fossil who cares about the wealthy and himself. His poor decision making skills have been magnified by choosing the most unqualified running mate in the history of American politics. She makes Dan Quayle look smart.

It's obvious that Obama will make the better president because he is aware of the problems with the economy, will support a woman's right to choose and supports g*y rights.

  3. McCain is evangelical and anti g*y marriage and anti-abortion. OBama is for same-s*x unions (depending on individual state legislation) and abortion.

McCain says he doesn't know much about the economy, but has proposed to lower taxes, help small businesses, achieve oil independence and get rid of 'pork-barrel spending'. He is for free trade. Obama has laid out a series of economic proposals but has opposed the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Overall, both McCain and Obama as senators have passed many bills in the senate that have become legislation. But McCain is way more experienced than Obama. Obama was relatively unknown before 2004 and his sudden rise to stardom and fame is astonishing, but questionable.

Overall, when I hear Obama speak, I hear a typical politician, a newbie lackey who is very good at using words to sway people. When I hear McCain speak and see his proposals and track record, I see a fighter who has been through tough times, was taken POW and tortured but survived, had skin cancer and lost the 2000 Republican nomination, but survived. He is a FIGHTER. He has shown dedication to America.

McCain will make a good president. Obama can wait for four more years or more and get more experience. Only then will his speeches have more substance.

  4. If you watched the debates you would know.  Obama explained what he would do

    1. Cut taxes for 95% and raise taxes on the rest.

    2. Find other solutions to power besides drilling (oil companies would take it over and do the same thing once they got their grubby little fingers on more oil).

    3. Make college education affordable.

    4. Make healthcare affordable and accessible for all

    5. Close corporate loopholes that lets countries send jobs overseas thereby giving more jobs to Americans.  Would also increase taxes on those businesses that still want to go overseas anyway.

    What would McCain do?

    1. Attack Obama

    2. Attack Obama

    3. Talk about Iraq

    4. Talk about his captivity in Vietnam

    5. Complain about the unfairness of the media

I'm not making it up this is what they did at the convention.  As for g*y marriage / rights, that is none of the government's business and shouldn't be a debate topic.  Abortion is important but there are other issues, especially since we already know where both candidates stand on this topic.  The economy...well Obama's got that one in the bag.  McCain'll probably say that we're all individuals (after he privatizes everything like hospitals, schools, nursing homes, etc. and make it to expensive for the middle class and poor) and we can pull ourselves up by our boot straps.  Just look at what they're saying.  And see who's better.  Look above.  Obviously Obama / Biden are better.  I still know nothing about Palin's platform despite her speech.  McCain, we know and we're saddened.  Obama by a landslide.

  5. That's far too much to answer in a yahoo answers reply.

You should visit both of their websites, listen to debates, etc.

http://www.votegopher.com/ is a nice summary site if you don't have that much time.  Side by side bullet points, etc. and pretty squarely unbiased.

  6. I think McCain would help put the breaks on the country going out of control - there needs to be some balance with conservative points of view so we don't turn into heathens. The Republicans have already said they won't revert abortion so that's not up for discussion. Obama would pull out the troops and undermine everything that has happened so far making the US look like fools, I feel more comfortable if I knew McCain was in office.

  7. ones white and ones black

  8. Obama is a ex crackhead

    McCain is a war vet.
