  1. superbikes are basically road bikes that are a bit more tuned

    moto gp bikes are created especially for racing and can't be bought as road bikes.

    wsb also have bigger engines as they are mostly 1000cc and motogp are 800cc




  2. WSB : Road based machines. Very tight rule book.

    4 cly = 1000cc 2 cly = 1200cc.

    The starting bike must have sold 3000 [ or something like that] by mid season.

    MOTOGP :

    One off pure race driven protoype 800cc missiles.

    No road bike starting base. Yes very tight rules, but you make massive changes any time you like.

    The MotoGP also runs the 250cc 2 stroke class [ soon to change to 450cc Twins / 600cc Fours] & the 125cc 2 stroke World Championships.

    unless you look at that daft website posted on here a few days ago

    that thinks a superbike is a 70mph 110cc pocket bike.

    which it isnt
