  1. For broadway you need LOADS of experience, but a normal musical theater can be a pre-k play, anything!

  2. click the link below understand about them

    Musical Theater: http://www.linkbucks.com/link/ff796d5b/2...

  3. Musical Theater is a genre while Broadway is a place. There are plays on Broadway that are not musicals. Sometimes "Broadway" can be used as a genre just because of the association it has with musical theater. If by "do Broadway" you mean act in a show on Broadway the street, then it is possible to do so without doing musical theater but the majority of the shows on Broadway are musicals. The straight plays usually aren't as popular but they are still highly respected and nominated for Tonys every year. The best chance you'll have to work on Broadway is if you can sing, dance and act extremely well and you'll have to work at smaller venues for a long time. If by "do Broadway" you mean you want to sing songs from Broadway shows then you just have to buy a songbook.

  4. broadway shows play on broadway it is a street in new york city , musical theater can be anywhere

  5. "Musical Theater" is a genre/type of play that includes music, singing, and often dancing.

"Broadway" is a coveted street in Manhattan, New York where successful shows, Musical Theater or straight Plays, are performed.

For example, "Wicked" is a musical that is performed both ON Broadway (in a theater that is on Broadway Blvd) as well as IN the West End (London) and ON tour.

However, "A Raisin in the Sun" is also ON Broadway, but it's a straight play.
