What is the difference between Recruitment and Staffing?

Recruitment targets personnel that you are willing to invest time and resources into making them a big part of your company.  This is mainly to cover your core business - the reason your company exists.

Staffing refers to loading of personnel with core skills that are needed to run the company.  These are more on the operations and administrative side of a business.

As you can see it's mainly a matter of timeframe of the need ofr personnel, as some staff may do well enough to warrant investment, and then some recruits may get left behind in the investment and become just another employee.
