What is the difference between SE sedan and LX sedan?

I am trying to buy a car and the car I am planning to buy is SE sedan. For the same car KBB shows $400 less if its LX sedan. Can some one tell me what is the difference? I have googled but with no use.

SE comes with more standard features than LX.

These features could be leather or power seats or a cd player.

SE = special edition

LX = luxury edition

This add seems kind of backwards -- usually the LX sedans have more of the comforts and gadgets than the SE does...

SE=sports/special edition, LX=luxury edition.

LX usually involves a trim package that includes fancy seats and extra bell and whistles. SE is the more standard trim package, cloth seats, A/C, etc
