I know E stands for Europe and it's more expensive. I am from Europe but I was planning on buying SR-12 from USA. Am I going to have any problems using the SR-12 in Europe? Anyone know the difference and could help me choose which cam I should buy?

  1. The main difference is the difference in TV standards.

The SR12 (USA model) can output NTSC signals when connected to a non-HiDef TV; while the SR12E is PAL.

If you plan only to shoot your videos in HiDef only and use a HDMI connection to a HiDef monitor, I think then the NTSC/PAL issue would become a non-issue.
