  1. It's the same. (or very much alike?) It's a wok fried dish. Yangchow (or Yangzhou) fried rice - A fried rice dish consisting of generous portions of shrimp, scrambled egg, along with barbecued pork. This is the most popular fried rice served in Chinese restaurants, commonly referred to simply as "special fried rice" or "house fried rice."

  2. Yangzhou or Yong Chow fried rice is pretty much a classic Chinese fried rice dish offered in practically any Chinese restaurant all over the world, with not much variation. But since some customers might think it's just a simple common dish or want something different, many restaurants have their own special or more deluxe fried rice version. Eg. with premium Chinese dried sausages, dried scallops, fresh crabmeat, premium Jinhua ham etc. Though really only the top (and most expensive) Chinese restaurants have anything out of the ordinary for their house specialty fried rice but sometimes it becomes over the top, like adding 'edible' real gold flakes.
