Question:

What is the difference between T (AT&T) and AT (ATT)?

They are listed in Yahoo quotes as different symbols at different prices, but the news for one shows up under the other symbol. Could anybody explain this? Thanks

  1. T is equity.  ATT is debt, a senior note.


  2. Different companies. AT&T and Alltel. Yahoo not connecting right.
