I am trying to decide between getting Teen Vogue or Vogue. How are the two magazines different and which one would be better for a college student who wants basic fashion advice?

  1. Vogue is meant for adults. It's more sophisticated. Teen Vogue is meant for teenagers in high school. It's less sophiscated and has stuff that teenage girls like to read.

  2. Teen Vogue is aimed at TeenFashion budgets. If your strapped for cash you could look at that one.

  3. Teen Vogue and Vogue are virtually the same, but Vogue is set for an older crowd, while Teen Vogue was made and specifically designed to target teenagers.  Since you're a college student, it only would have been right for you to read Teen Vogue as a teen, but since you're no longer a teen, Vogue would be the right choice for you.  However, Vogue is not a very easy magazine to get into right away.  It would have been best for you to have read magazines in the Condé Nast family of magazines before you would jump to reading a magazine such as Vogue.  But since you do want a magazine that is both easy to read and provides simple fashion advice, I would suggest Teen Vogue to you, even though the magazine is set for a younger crowd.

  4. Vogue is marketed for adults.

Teen Vogue is marketed for teenagers that are in high school.
