  1. I have limited experience with Vista, have used XP for years. Vista seems more complicated and needs 1 GB of RAM just to operate. And I have friends who have had significant trouble when upgrading to Vista. If I were in the market for a new computer I would get one that's Vista compatible but runs on XP, I think it would run super fast. However, big box stores like Best Buy can't possible do this because they are controlled by greedy b******s. Find a small, local computer store and they can make it happen.

  2. Vista is basically for business people and usually don't have a lot of memory. If you are planning to put games or downloads on you laptop, then stick with Windows XP.

  3. It is complicated, everything takes longer, to get there and to do it, you will be wise to find one with XP.
