  1. The letters lx are attatched

  2.   nothing but ground effects driving lights on gt but not on lx but the lx  does have chrome tips out back bolt cars have 225 horse power 5 liter  v8s  in them but in the gt thats all you can get in it. ps. it is the same motor from 1987 but in 1989 they went to mass air sensor that is better for motor mods than a map sensor in 87-88 cars . the lx is also lighter than the gt and the lx n notch back is the lightest of all of them

  3. the lx is the luxery edition with a 6 cylinder.the gt has a v8

  4. In 1993 there was no 6 cylinder available in the Mustang, I don't where people are getting that idea from. The LX was the basic model. It had a 2.3L 4 banger. However one could (and many did) get the LX with the 4.9L V8. Getting the V8 engine also got you the same equipment as the GT minus the body kit. Same gearbox, same quad-shock rear suspension, same tires, same axle, etc. Basically it was for those wanted the GT performance without the body kit of the GT. There may have been some minor interior trim differences, but they are mechanically the same.

  5. The GT was a more sporty version, with a 5.0 ltr V8 and stiffer suspension. The LX was a luxury model with softer suspension and a V6 engine as standard. The V8 was offered as an option on the LX.

  6. The GT is a V8, the LX is just a V6. Both are ugly as sin.

  7. the gt is a v8 lx is a v6
