  1. If you want to know max speed with 7,5HP- there is no clear answer to it.

You've loss 2,5HP and thats the answer.

  2. 2.5 hp

  3. Speed would be about half of the ten HP engine.

  4. mmm, quite a bit slower but it depends on the load in the boat

I have an 8 hp evinrude and it is a good deal slower than a 9.9 with two people in the boat.

with just me it doesnt make much difference because the boat can still get on step but there is no way it can with two people and a 9.9 still can.

Hope this helps, there are a lot of variables and no clear answers.

a 2.5 % reduction in horsepower and make a huge difference or very little difference.

  5. 25 % slower

  6. why are you even worried you were using 10HP before! what you should be concerned with is is a 7.5HP engine going to be able to push my boat or will it brun out; if anythign its goign to be noisier than your 10P but look online and you can get a good trolling motor for cheap money
