There isn't too much of a difference any more...although from the incorporation of devices such as universal health care among democrats implies a stronger understanding of economics among republicans.

Republicans believe the way to make everything fair is to encourage success and allow everyone to benefit from their own success.  The cost of this is that those who choose to be poor will be.

I find myself a Conservative Republican.

Countries?  Democrats and Republicans are in the U.S.  There are other countries that have basically the same party ideas but with different names.

Democrats tend to be more moderate, less influenced by morals or religion, pro-environment and for the "people".

Republicans tend to be those with money, more conservative, religous and pro-corporation.

In a nutshell.
