I am being told to get a general conservatorship for my developmentally and physically disabled adult son. Why would that be better than a limited one (asking for all of the same powers)?

  1. I truly do want to answer your question to the best of my knowledge, however, this area of law is quite unsettled...meaning that it really all depends on what state you are located. I'm not an attorney yet, but will be taking the bar exam this May. If you wish to email me more information so that we can get to the bottom of this extremely important issue, please feel free to do so...

    Sincerely,
