Me and my partner want to pet rabbit. We would like a very small breed and after a lot of research.. we are truly confused about with breed is best. I have seen that mini lops are very common but have heard despite their name.. they can grow!

  1. I have a mini lop and he is fantastic, like a little puppy. He licks, runs around, comes over so you can pet him, the sweetest thing. Rabbits should not be kept in cages, they should have time out of the cage every day and be in a safe area with no cords. Mine has the diningroom and hall and the rest is gated off. there is no way for him to get into trouble. we socialized him since he came home with us. We lay on the floor and call him, and make funny sounds, which makes him do binkies, jumping and running. I never knew rabbits could be so much fun.

  2. I don't like these comments bashing mini lops, just saying. I have a mini lop and he is the sweetest rabbit you will ever meet. Anyway, mini lops are not "way big". They are 5-7 lbs. Holland lops are <4 lbs. And, if you can tell, 5-7 lbs is not a huge. Holland lops and mini lops are both chubby looking and have rounded features.
